In our research programme, we educate design researchers and undertake basic and applied research projects in collaboration with academic, industrial and public partners and networks.

Our aim is to increase the understanding and develop the field of industrial design by combining scientific and artistic exploration.

Critical reflection, the ability to deal with ambiguity and friction, moral intelligence and diversity in micro-, macro- and meta- perspectives and modes of inquiry are central tenets to meet emerging challenges. We strive to use a wide range of approaches, in the search for new formats and their effects, and useful and validated knowledge.
